Friday, February 1st, 2019

mortice locks, warrington, Culcheth, Glazebrook, ManchesterMany people would not be able to identify what type of lock they had in their door, relying instead on previous owners of the property, landlords etc. to have ensured the correct most affective lock has been installed.  This is not surprising as, if you have not been trained or are not interested in the variations of locks available then these things might pass you by! However you do need to know what type of lock you have if you want to be fully secure and covered by your home insurance company.  Some locks have proved to be have a fault and there for easier for intruders to tamper with to gain access to your home – see more regarding UPVC cylinder locks here.

As specialist lock smiths there isn’t anything we don’t know about locks! If this does not include the outbuildings we will always enquire regarding the secuirty status of any other buildings on the property. This is not because we are after extra work! This is because we know many people keep valuable items in their garages, sheds and outbuildings and we are aware intruders taget these vunerable areas during the winter months under the cover of darkness where they are unlikely to be disturbed or noticed.
