The features of the new replacement locks include “a snap-off” front section so the burglar cannot get at the cam to turn it, you are still able to get your key in to unlock the door, but without the front section it makes it harder to grip what is left of the cylinder.
Another feature is a hardened reinforced bar which makes it harder to snap the cylinder.
